The program works exactly as advertised. I’ve used it for around 3 months with no problems. It is a good example of an inexpensive program that deals with what can be a major problem both efficiently and efficiently. My only quibbles with the program are the user interface. There are as follows:
— Opening files: There should be a drag-and-drop option for opening files. The current system works OK, i.e. go to the file menu and select the files rather than being able to drag them directly into the program from the finder. No big deal, but decidely old-school/Windows.
— Output path: When you choose an output path, the program immediately forgets it as soon as you open and/or select a file for conversion. In other words, to change the default output path, you have to first open files for conversion and then select those files; then the files will be placed where you want them. It’s a minor problem, since the converted files are just placed in the default folder in the Music directory. However, it could be make clearer.
If not for those two interface quibbles I would have given the program 5 stars. It does its job quickly, efficiently, and cheaply.
